Dear Palisades Porpoises, 

We have our fifth and final A meet of the summer this Saturday, July 15 at Calverton Swim Club, 12615 Galway Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20904. Please find more details about the meet below.

Arrival Time: Please have your swimmer on deck at 8:00am.
Meet Theme: The meet theme is Tourist.
Parking: They have a lot of parking at Calverton. If for some reason the lot fills up, there is street parking available, and you can park across the street at Galway Elementary. *Note that no one should park at the church or in the small guard lot to the left of the main entrance of the pool. 
Officials & Timers: The officials' briefing is at 8:30am, and the timers' briefing is at 8:40am. At 8:55am, there will be a starter and timers' time check. The national anthem will be at 9:00am.
Concessions: Meet concessions include hot egg sandwiches, donuts, bagels, coffee, juice, Gatorade, and other treats. There will be a discount for cash purchases, and they will accept Venmo. 
Senior Meet Day: This is Calverton's senior meet, and they appreciate our patience during halftime while they honor their seniors.

Post-Meet Lunch: The team will head to Panera for lunch after the meet. It is a 7-minute drive to the Panera at 12285 Tech Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904 (Thanks for the tip, Colleen Shaut, who grew up at Calverton!).
