Welcome to the Palisades Pool Swim Team
We are so excited for the 2023 swim season!
The Palisades Porpoises Swim Team participates in the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL), a summer recreational and developmental league. This summer, we will be swimming in Division H.
Practices:
The Porpoises will start practice on Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday and Sunday of that weekend (May 27 & 28), practices are offered from 9:00-10:00am for returning swimmers in all age groups. On Monday (May 29), practices will be held for ALL swimmers, new and returning, from 9:00-10:00am.
Afternoon practices will start on a regular schedule on Tuesday, May 30 (4:15 - 5:15pm for 11 & older, 5:15 to 6pm for 10 & under). Morning practices will be added beginning Monday, June 19 (8:30-9:30 am for
all age groups). Afternoon and morning practices continue on this schedule through Friday, July 14. In the last week of the summer season, July 17-21, practices are offered for Divisionals qualifiers only on a modified schedule TBD.
Our pre-team practices will begin on Monday, June 19th and be held on weekdays from
8:00-8:30 am and 3:45-4:15pm (no afternoon practice on Wednesdays). Pre-team culminates in the Mini Meet at Tilden Woods in the evening of July 18th.

Welcome to the Palisades Pool Dive Team
The Palisades Dive Team is a great way to learn to dive or improve your skills and build confidence and friendships in an atmosphere of friendly competition. All Palisades members (both bonded and temp members) ages 5-18 whose family paid summer dues for 2023 and can swim in the deep well to the ladder are welcome. For the summer dive season, a diver’s age for competition is the diver’s age as of June 1.
We participate in the Montgomery County Dive League (MCDL), a fun, summer recreation and developmental league. teaches kids body control, acrobatic skills, mental focus and competitiveness. It’s also a lot of fun!
Not sure if Dive Team is right for you? We offer a trial for NEW DIVERS ONLY to try it out for up to two practices.
This summer, our summer dive season will run May 27 - July 23. Afternoon practices start the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Our practices will be held at the same time as swim practices, 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. M-F, but we will hold practice for younger divers 4:15 - 5:15 pm and older divers practice will be 5:15 - 6:15 p.m., so that kids can join both swim team and dive team if interested. Morning practices will run June 19 - July 22, M-F 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
