The Palisades Porpoises are ready for another thrilling, fun-filled season in Division G of the Montgomery County Swim League.
We welcome all Palisades members in good standing, aged 6-18 who can swim a length of the pool freestyle unassisted to join the swim team. Swim team will practice every weekday (5 days/week) and compete in meets on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings!
If your child cannot swim one length of the pool unassisted, then he or she should join pre-team. To participate in pre-team, your child should be able to swim unassisted across the diving well of the pool. Pre-team will practice three days per week (T/Th/F), and swimmers will work toward participation in the year-end Mini Meet!
Finally, our youngest and first-time swimmers are encouraged to join Porpoise Pups, a learn-to-swim program designed to promote fun and comfort in the water. Porpoise Pups will practice three days per week (M/W/F), and the pups are also eligible to participate in the year-end Mini Meet!
Not sure which program is right for your swimmer(s)? Coaches' assessments will be held on Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day).

The season kicks off with our Memorial Day weekend practices @ 9-10am on May 24 & May 25 for returning swimmers, and Monday, May 25 for both new and returning swimmers.
Regular afternoon practices for Swim Team begin Tuesday, May 26 and will be organized by age group. See "Practice Schedule" tab for information on schedule.
Time trials for Swim Team will take place Saturday, June 6. Regular morning practices begin Monday, June 22 (8:30-9:30 am for all groups).
Our Pre-Team and Pups programs begin on Monday, June 22.
- Pups: M, W, F: 3:45 - 4:15 pm
- Pre-Team: M, W, F: 8-830 am and/or T, Th, F: 3:45 - 4:15 pm

The registration fees for Swim Team are $225 per swimmer and $200 for siblings. The registration fees for Pre-Team and Porpoise Pups are $150 per swimmer.
Please register by Wednesday, June 4. We are only accepting electronic payments for team registration fees. You MUST be a member of Palisades Pool to join the swim team., pre-team, or pups.
