Palisades AWAY Dive Meet this Sunday, July 17 at Robin Hood

Hi Palisades Dive Families,

Our last dive dual meet of the 2022 season is this Sunday, July 17 at Robin Hood pool. We encourage ALL REGISTERED DIVERS to participate in this meet!

Please have your diver complete a dive sheet with a coach during practice this week. If you are not able to come to practice to complete a sheet, please email Coach Emma to let her know you will participate and arrive to the pool by 3:15 on Sunday to complete a dive sheet.

Volunteers: Parents! We need you in order to make this meet a success!

For each away meet, we need to supply two table workers and three judges for each half of the meet. I also included a signup for providing our divers health snacks.

Time: Boards will be available for Palisades warm up at 3:30; Meet starts at 4:00. Judges and table worker meeting at 3:50.

**Please note that the half time break will be held after the 9-10s, so please plan accordingly**

Parking: There will be parking in the lot and also on the pool side of Mowbray (no parking is allowed on the other side as the street needs to remain clear enough for a fire truck to pass if necessary)Additional parking is available at Westover Elementary School at the corner of Locksley Ln and Hawkesbury Ln. There is a cut through path to the pool from the school just to the right of the big white house.

Concessions – We will have concessions available during the meet. The team will be selling B-b-que pork sandwiches, drinks, and an assortment of snacks, chips, and candy. Ice cream treats are available at our guard house during the last 10 minutes of the hour (adult swim time).

Team Area: We have set aside the space on the far side of the pool for your team area. The area is part grass and part patio and there is also a small pavilion if you need additional shade.

Covid Protocols:– Robin Hood is following CDC guidelines regarding individuals who have tested positive or been in close contact with someone who has tested positive (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html). We respectfully request that all visitors to Robin Hood do the same.

  • If you were exposed to COVID-19 and are up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations - Wear a well-fitting mask for 10 full days any time you are around others inside your home or in public. Do not go to places where you are unable to wear a well-fitting mask.
  • If you were exposed to COVID-19 and had confirmed COVID-19 within the past 90 days (you tested positive using a viral test) - You do not need to stay home unless you develop symptoms. Wear a well-fitting mask for 10 full days any time you are around others inside your home or in public. Do not go to places where you are unable to wear a well-fitting mask.
  • If you were exposed to COVID-19 and are NOT up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations - Stay home and quarantine for at least 5 full days. Wear a well-fitting mask for 10 full days any time you are around others inside your home or in public. Do not go to places where you are unable to wear a well-fitting mask.
  • If you tested positive for COVID-19 or have symptoms, regardless of vaccination status - Stay home for 5 days and isolate from others in your home. Wear a well-fitting mask for 10 full days any time you are around others inside your home or in public. Do not go to places where you are unable to wear a mask
