Palisades Swim Team This Week
After a few weeks of practice, the Porpoises will compete in our first A meet of the summer this Saturday, June 18, at Manchester Farm (13851 Hopkins Rd., Germantown, MD, 20874). Swimmers should arrive at the Manchester Farm pool by 8:10am to begin warm-ups promptly at 8:25am. Parking is available at the pool, along the streets, and across the street at Ronald McNair Elementary School. Do not park along the yellow curb in the circle at the pool entrance. The Palisades team area will be in the back right section next to the diving board. The theme for this week's A meet is Business Tops and Party Bottoms!
On Friday, June 17, we will prepare for the meet with our first Pep Rally - pizza and car decorating. All swimmers, including pre-team swimmers and their families are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please watch for the sign-up to pre-order pizza coming out from Coach Jen, and join us in the pavilion at 6pm!
