Thanks to all the swimmers who participated in today's Time Trials. Here are some reminders and notes for the upcoming week. 

Please visit the team site (sign into palisadespool.com first) and designate your child's availability for upcoming meets. You can sign up now for all the Wednesday night meets your child will compete in. You can even say whether they are available to swim in any of the Saturday meets. Take care of this step now as it helps with our planning. You can edit your commitment if your schedule changes. Please remember the deadline to sign up for Wednesdays meets is 6 pm Tuesday night. The Saturday meet line up is sent out after the Wednesday meet concludes and families must confirm by Thursday whether their swimmer will attend. 

As many of you know, the restrictions previously imposed by the Montgomery County Swim League have been lifted. Spectators are now allowed to watch the meets and there is no mask mandate at Palisades. However, unvaccinated people are highly encouraged to wear a mask when not in the pool. Everyone should wear masks in locker rooms and while cheering in a group. Also, please do not let the relaxation of rules  deter you from volunteering. Our team is bigger than recent years and we need all families to participate to help make this a successful season. You can volunteer now on the team site. Please try to commit to at least two volunteer slots over the season.

Our first pep rally will be Friday after practice. Please park in the section of the parking lot parallel to the picnic area so that swimmers can decorate their family car for the first meet of the season. Also learn details of our 4th of July Swimathon to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Everyone is invited.

Finally, there are just a few more hours to shop for Palisades sweatshirts, pajama pants and water bottles (bring one of those so we can cut down the use of plastic single-use bottles!) Order closes at 9 am tomorrow morning. Shop here:
