SWIM TEAM BANQUET

RSVPs are now open for the Swim Team Banquet Saturday, July 21, 6-9 pm. The event is catered by California Tortilla. Enjoy dinner with swim team families, then coaches will distribute paper plate awards (medals, if you ordered them), and team awards. The night culminates with the always-delightful Slide Show! 

Dinner is $15 for adults and teens, ages 15-18; $10 for children 5-14; children 4 and under eat for free. Please RSVP on the team site by Friday, July 20 at 3 pm so we can give the final headcount to CalTort. No payments accepted at the door.

We are looking for set-up, clean-up volunteers and people to bring dessert. Sign up on the swim team site.

ORDER A MEDAL?

SUNDAY, JULY 15 is the last day to order medals for your swimmer, sponsored by the swim team. We will gladly order a medal for any family that wants them, just please let us know. Every swimmer at the banquet receives a paper plate award.

Families not attending the banquet may pick up their medals in the remaining weeks of the swim season.

SLIDE SHOW

Every year we end the swim team banquet with a slideshow featuring swimmers from the past swim season. This year, swim team dad Marcus Chen is putting together the show for us. Every swimmer loves to see his or her face in the slideshow, but to make this a reality, please send him pictures of your swimmers (or any swimmers) for the presentation! He needs the images by Thursday July 19 to incorporate into the slideshow.

There are five easy ways to provide him with your pictures:

1. Upload them to the a google shared folder for 2018 Palisades summer photos https://photos.app.goo.gl/uhBPwubsZpje8Dpo9

2. Email them to [email protected] and be sure to include the names of the swimmers.

3. If your pictures are big or you have a lot pictures, send an email to [email protected] and he’ll share a DropBox location with you to upload pictures.

4. If you would rather give me a thumb drive with pictures, send an email to [email protected] with your phone number and we can coordinate.

5. Text them to him at 301-325-6702 and let me know the names of your swimmers.
